As a major housing provider, delivering new homes is a major part of our strategy as we are working to provide more affordable housing in the communities where we work. Our mission is to provide good quality homes for those who could not otherwise afford them.
To do this we need to generate sales from our programme of new sale homes available to own through private sale, Help to Buy and Shared Ownership and have recently formed a dedicated new build sales and marketing directorate to meet the challenge of delivering over 1000 new home sales per year. This includes a range of hugely exciting projects from smaller residential developments to large, multi-tenure regeneration estates that will be amongst the biggest in Europe. The role of Digital Manager is an established role within our team which is vital to our lead generation and sales success. Working with our CMS development partners, you will maintain and iteratively improve our high-traffic sales site, nhgsales.com, as well as a small number of development microsites. With responsibility for all digital sales content and user experience, including third party websites and social media, you will be key to driving our digital presence through effective strategies, technical expertise and operational team management.
From targeting and engaging potential home buyers to developing our customer journey to give a great user experience and delivering a strong rate of conversion to help meet our sales targets, this role is critical to our sales success and our social purpose.
Managing our Digital Co-ordinator, Digital Marketing Campaign Manager and our Graphic and Video Content Designer, this opportunity has become available as we begin operating in our new structure. The successful candidate will be in a position to recruit to some of these new roles and build a team to develop our capacity and deliver sector leading digital marketing campaigns. You will take the lead on a fully budgeted new project to build a brand new sales website – overseeing the project right from supplier selection through to writing user stories, design and development.
You will work closely with our Marketing Managers and Sales team and will report directly to the Head of Marketing. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across I.T., communications, development and other departments as well as with suppliers, sector peers, trade and stakeholder organisations.
Applicants will have a strong background in managing Agile digital projects, managing a team of both creative and technical roles, advanced technical and stakeholder management skills and experience of supporting a high performing sales programme, preferably within property sales or financial services. You would also be able to show how you have previously created websites and digital campaigns that have offered excellent return on investment, high quality user experiences and value for money.
